Gingrich: Major Networks Are Holding Emails From White House Canceling Plans to Assist Benghazi Heroes on 9-11 (Video)

Hat Tip-

“There is a rumor — I want to be clear, it’s a rumor — that at least two networks have emails from the National Security Adviser’s office telling a counter-terrorism group to stand down,” Gingrich said. “But they were a group in real-time trying to mobilize marines and C-130s and the fighter aircraft, and they were told explicitly by the White House stand down and do nothing. This is not a terrorist action. If that is true, and I’ve been told this by a fairly reliable U.S. senator, if that is true and comes out, I think it raises enormous questions about the president’s role, and Tom Donilon, the National Security Adviser’s role, the Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, who has taken it on his own shoulders, that he said don’t go. And that is, I think, very dubious, given that the president said he had instructions they are supposed to do everything they could to secure American personnel.”

OBAMA FIDDLED AS BENGHAZI BURNED – President Refused to Call in Troops From Italy One Hour Away

** White House officials watched the terror strike live by unmanned Predator drone
** White House knew Al-Qaeda linked group was behind terror strike at 6:07 PM EST on 9-11
** An estimated 300 to 400 ‘national security figures’ received emails from Libya day of attack
** US Troops in Italy were not called in to rescue officials
** 200 attacks in Benghazi before 9-11
** The Obama Administration was concerned using troops from Italy would violate Libyan sovereignty

The US had troops in Sigonella, Italy – about an hour away.
The attack went on for at least four hours.

President Obama sat on his thumbs as the Benghazi consulate burned.

he United States had an unmanned Predator drone over its consulate in Benghazi during the attack that slaughtered four Americans — which should have led to a quicker military response, it was revealed yesterday.

“They stood, and they watched, and our people died,” former CIA commander Gary Berntsen told CBS News.

The network reported that the drone and other reconnaissance aircraft observed the final hours of the hours-long siege on Sept. 11 — obtaining information that should have spurred swift action.

But as Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three colleagues were killed by terrorists armed with AK-47s and rocket-propelled grenade launchers, Defense Department officials were too slow to send in the troops, Berntsen said.

“They made zero adjustments in this. You find a way to make this happen,” he fumed.

“There isn’t a plan for every single engagement. Sometimes you have to be able to make adjustments.”

The Pentagon said it moved a team of special operators from Central Europe to Sigonella, Italy — about an hour flight from Libya — but gave no other details.

Fighter jets and Specter AC-130 gunships — which could have been used to help disperse the bloodthirsty mob — were also stationed at three nearby bases, sources told the network.

The White House was sent this email at 6:07 PM on 9-11: “Ansar al-Sharia Claims Responsibility for Benghazi Attack”

“This Is One of the Worst Cover-Ups Probably in History of the Republic” (Video)

Liz Cheney told Sean Hannity tonight that the Benghazi 9-11 cover-up was probably one of the worst cover-ups in the history of the republic.

“This is one of the worst cover-ups probably in the history of the republic. In terms of, we’re not talking about a policy that went awry here. We’re talking about an ambassador and three other Americans who were killed. We’re talking about a nation under attack… A lot of people have asked me, ‘Why would they lie about something so critically important?’ The reason they do is is because they got to get the American people to believe that this president has been an effective national security president.”

BOMBSHELL: House Oversight says requests for increased security in Benghazi before 9/11 denied by Washington

Oversight Presses for Answers: Diplomats in Libya Requested Additional Security, Washington Officials Denied the Resources

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee leaders today sent a letter to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton asking why requests for more protection were denied to the U.S. mission in Libya by Washington officials prior to the September 11, 2012 terrorist attack that killed U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens. The denials came after repeated attacks and security threats to U.S. personnel.

“Based on information provided to the Committee by individuals with direct knowledge of events in Libya, the attack that claimed the ambassador’s life was the latest in a long line of attacks on Western diplomats and officials in Libya in the months leading up to September 11, 2012. It was clearly never, as Administration officials once insisted, the result of a popular protest,” the committee’s chairman, Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., and subcommittee chairman, Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, write. “In addition, multiple U.S. federal government officials have confirmed to the Committee that, prior to the September 11 attack, the U.S. mission in Libya made repeated requests for increased security in Benghazi. The mission in Libya, however, was denied these resources by officials in Washington.”

The letter outlines 13 security threats over the six months prior to the attack.

“Put together, these events indicated a clear pattern of security threats that could only be reasonably interpreted to justify increased security for U.S. personnel and facilities in Benghazi,” the chairmen write.

The Committee indicated it intends to convene a hearing in Washington on Wednesday October 10, 2012, on the security failures that preceded the attack.
