Bibi sends message through Rahm

Former Obama White House Chief of Staff and current Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel met with Israeli Defense Minister – and the reported message received by Emanual to be sent back to Barack Obama appears to confirm an earlier description of the conflict between Barack Obama and Benjamin Netanyahu.

“You have just as much blood on your hands as they do. They got a right to exist as well. Everybody does. And I don’t want this thing…this back and forth…you and them…I don’t want this turning into an election issue for me, right? I can’t be telling those people how to treat your country any more than you want me telling you how to treat them, right? You see where I’m at in this?

Don’t you turn this into something that might take away Jewish votes for me. That’s what you got going here – I know what you’re up to. Don’t do it. This thing…Iran…don’t try…don’t hurt me politically with it. You need us. We don’t need you.”

-AND NOW, an excerpt from a news report published today:
WASHINGTON — Mayor Rahm Emanuel met Thursday with Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak — who delivered a message, I’m told, that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is not attempting to interfere in the U.S. presidential election to benefit Mitt Romney.
…Haaretz reported, “At their meeting, Barak told Emanuel that Netanyahu is unapologetic for his stance on Iran, but that he has absolutely no intention to support one presidential candidate or another or get involved in any other way in the elections.”
